For a week, the community Salvetat Saint Gilles (Haute Garonne) finds the administration of first cases of autochthonous dengue fever in the history of Haute-Garonne. Two cases have been recorded in this municipality.

“A second treatment will be carried out near the focus of the dengue case (Avenue de Gascogne, between Impasse du Stade and Rue des Catalpas) on the night of Wednesday September 7th to Thursday September 8th between 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m..” , denotes the town hall of the municipality.

“The treatment will be carried out from a vehicle (pick-up) and may be supplemented by pedestrian treatment in the affected area,” adds the town hall.
