The sexual harassment allegedly took place in 2016 on board a SpaceX business jet fleet flight bound for London. Elon Musk would have removed his pants during a massage performed by the hostess on board. The SpaceX CEO then allegedly bared his penis, rubbed his leg on the employee and proposed to her.to do more“, offering from him”buy a horsein exchange for an erotic massage, reports Business Insider. The hostess then refused and continued the massage without engaging in any sexual act.
A friend of the declared victim testifies
Business Insider says it determined these facts based on documents, including email exchanges, and the testimony of a friend of the flight attendant who was briefed by the flight attendant on the events. The stated victim declined to speak directly to Business Insider. The media say they still know his identity, as well as that of his friend, who chose to testify anonymously.
According to Business Insider, the alleged victim filed a complaint with the company’s human resources department in 2018. In November 2018, SpaceX and the flight attendant reached an agreement: in exchange for $250,000, she agreed not to sue. She also reportedly signed what Business Insider called “restrictive non-disclosure and non-disparagement clauses‘, forbidding him from disclosing any information about Elon Musk, his business, or reporting the existence of the $250,000 payment.
Elon Musk reacts on Twitter
On Twitter, Elon Musk rejected the allegations of sexual harassment. “These brutal accusations are completely false‘ he wrote in a tweet this Friday. To prove he never undressed in front of the stewardess, he invited his accuser’s friend, who was testifying against him, to “describe a thing [sur son corps]everything (scars, tattoos…) that is not known to the public“.”She won’t make it because it never happened‘ said the billionaire. The SpaceX and Tesla boss further called the Business Insider article “flashy article with political motivation“.
Earlier, when asked by Business Insider, Elon Musk said: “If I’ve been prone to sexual harassment, it’s probably not the first time in my entire thirty-year career that it’s come to light‘ he told the media. This is the first time Elon Musk has been charged with sexual harassment. The company SpaceX informed American media that it did not want to comment on the agreement signed with the flight attendant.
The American multi-billionaire also accused the media Business Insider of wanting to interfere in his takeover of the social network Twitter, which started in April and was suspended in May. “It was clear that their only goal was to get a good price to disrupt the Twitter takeover‘ Elon Musk wrote on Twitter.
