The Voice: Why didn’t Nikos Aliagas present the semifinals last night?

Caroline Costa, how have you been since the semifinals?

I live on a little cloud, it’s pretty unreal. It’s a phase of adventure I’ve never allowed myself to think about, so it’s true I still can’t achieve it. I think that will come when we start rehearsals. I’m so proud of this journey, of being surrounded by these artists. It’s so nice, I’m the happiest in the world to be here today.

What does the preparation program for the final look like?

We are at work and are considering which songs we can interpret and how. We work very hard to put on a good show because that’s how I see it before we’re a competition. We want to surpass ourselves to be proud of ourselves. It will be the last time we approach this beautiful plateau that is The Voice and I want to take every moment I have to live until Saturday. Since the beginning of this adventure I live in the present moments, there is not necessarily a psychological preparation because for me it is still unreal what is happening. I just live and breathe deeply.

I also took part in this adventure for my 3 year old daughter to be able to see the pride in her eyes and I saw her so I won everything.

What reactions did you get from your loved ones when the results were announced?

proud. I got videos from my daughter watching me on TV that are worth all the gold in the world because I went on this adventure for her too to see the pride in her eyes. And I saw it, so I won everything. I haven’t had time to sit still, look at all my messages, read them, reply to them. I can’t wait to take the time to see everything with great attention.

The Voice 2022: Who are the five qualified candidates for the finals?

You already have a full course, do you still have challenges to overcome?

Of course, life is full of challenges. So far, The Voice has been my biggest challenge because while I’ve experienced great things, I question everything that’s at stake on the show. But The Voice is above all a rebirth, a revival. All you can wish for me is that for the future I’m fine with being able to perform on stage, which hasn’t been the case for years. Being able to share my music, my lyrics with the public, that’s really all you could ask for from me.

What do you remember most about your journey with The Voice so far?

I have grown and changed forever. I noticed it from the first moments of this adventure. It brings me many beautiful things, insurance and a woman as an artist. It is also a great personal and professional enrichment. I feel complete today, alive.
