The final of the 66and The Eurovision Song Contest will take place on Saturday 14 May 2022 in Turin (Italy).
If you’re not one of the “Eurofans”, unconditional supporters of Eurovision who will be present at the PalaOlimpico for the big night, don’t panic. Here are four ways to see Eurovision and not miss out on any of the twenty-five performances and intermissions on offer.
1. Watch from your couch, like almost everyone else
Classic but effective. The Eurovision party will be broadcast from 9 p.m France 2 Logically, because the event is broadcast and organized by the European public television station European Broadcasting Union (EBU).
The opportunity to prepare a nice aperitif tray to end the evening that lasts just over three and a half hours and to meet with family or friends.
You can follow the live stream offered by Ouest-France simultaneously on our website ouest-france.fr and our mobile app.
2. Stay on your sofa, but with the commentary in Breton
Unusual and a great way to support French candidates Alvan & Ahez.
In contrast to france 2, where the competition will be commented on in French by Laurence Boccolini and Stéphane Bern, France 3 Brittany organizes a special evening commenting on the competition in… Breton. The evening can be seen on the France.tv Bretagne website.
The show will be commented on by Goulwena an Henaff (from the Boulevard de Bretagne show), Yann-Herle Gourves, actor and director, Thelo Mell, presenter, and Mael Gwenneg, in charge of the channel’s Breton programmes.
3. If you don’t go to Turin, why not Rennes?
You can see Eurovision, but you can also experience it. This is what is offered to the public in Rennes at the Parquet de bal, a place known in Ille-et-Vilaine for its festoù-noz. The establishment, together with Skeudenn Bro Roazhon, the Cultural Agreement of the Country of Rennes, has prepared a projection on the big screen from 8 p.m. in collaboration with the municipal services.
The opportunity to experience the good atmosphere in front of the European competition and to support the regional flag-bearers group with the Bretons. Other evenings of this type are also organized in Vannes and Saint-Herblain near Nantes.
And maybe next year you will have the opportunity to visit the next host country!
Saturday May 14th at 9pm. Eurovision Song Contest, follows on ouest-france.fr, France 2, France 3 Brittany (on his website) and at the Parquet de bal in Rennes (from 8pm).
